The second leg of our Spain trip included renting a car and driving about 1.5 hours from Barcelona to the coastal region Costa Brava. My friend told me it’s a must and since it’s a close drive from Barcelona, we decided to go!
Costa Brava is flooded with pockets of cute little towns and villages, like Cadaqués, Tossa de Mar, Girona, Begur, and more. I highly recommend looking through a map of this region and picking specific places you want to see, since it can be overwhelming to visit all of them. We stayed at an Airbnb in Roses and drove to different beaches and towns each day to make the most of our trip.
I recommend going if you’re in Barcelona because it’s a nice weekend trip away from the bustling city life.
